As part of an extensive refurbishment plan, the hotel which was earlier called 'Taj Residency' gained a makeover to become Taj Deccan.

Taj Chandigarh- It has capitalized on the growth and has provided a unique brand of service to a host of business, luxury and NRI travelers in Chandigarh. Taj Chandigarh aims to dominate the hospitality business in the city in the years to come.

Taj Chennai- Acquired in a semi-built stage, the upcoming hotel in Chennai will surely meet international standards with about 200 world-class guest rooms. The hotel is expected to commence operations soon.
