About the Company

GTN Textiles, formerly GTN Industries, was incorporated on March 28, 2005 as a public limited company. As per a scheme of arrangement, the company took over the demerged business of GTN Industries comprising of business activities of the Aluva unit, investment of 39.07% of the paid-up equity share capital of Patspin India along with other assets situated in Mumbai, Kolkata and Coimbatore. The company got its current name with effect from Dec. 27, 2005.

The company produces high quality 100% combed cotton yarns single, twisted and gassed. The company`s Aluva unit is fully modernized and the company has spent over Rs 500 million towards the latest technology to achieve optimum productivity and to produce yarn at par with the international quality standards.

The yarns are manufactured from the world`s best sources of raw cotton like the Egyptian Giza, Americian Supima, Australian cotton, Indian Suvin, MCU5 and Sankar. The company is one of the largest Indian users of Giza and contamination-free cottons like Supima and Australian.

It has been awarded certifications like ISO 14001 for environmental management systems, the Oeko-Tex standard certification for yarn purity and ISO 9001 for quality systems. The company has won export awards from Texprocil.

The company has a major export share in countries like Japan, Italy, South Korea, Taiwan, Mauritius, Austria etc.
