Oswal Chemicals & Fertilizers was earlier known as Bindal Agro Chem, which later was changed in the year 1995. In 2011 the company has changed its name from Oswal Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd. to Oswal Green Tech Ltd.

Oswal Green Tech is part of well-diversified business house Oswal Group, which also owns companies namely Oswal Agro Mills and Oswal Agro Furane.

Oswal Green Tech's manufacturing units are equipped with state of the art technologies, are located at Shahjahanpur (Uttar Pradesh) and Paradeep (Orissa).

Company owns two subsidiaries namely Oswal Engineering and Universal Projects FZE, both located at UAE.

The company manufactures agro- based products, petrochemicals, alcohol chemicals and nitrogenous fertilizers. Company has established the world's largest grass root DAP plant at Paradeep in Orissa. Oswal Green Tech has the capacity to produce 850,000 tonne per annum of urea at Shahjahapur in UP.

The company manufactures agro-products like vegetable ghee; it has a soyabean processing plant, a vegetable oil refinery, a hydrogenation plant and a flour mill; it also produces chemicals like low-density polyethylene (LDPE).

Company has technical collaborations with Buhler Marg of Germany, Berico of USA, ICI of UK, Union Carbide and General Electric of USA, Snamp- rogetti of Italy and a host of others.
