Nalwa Sons Investments was incorporated as a private company on November 18, 1970 and converted into a public company on May 25, 1975. The company is a registered non-banking finance company with an asset size in excess of Rs 1 billion. The company earlier known as Jindal Strips, it got its present name on May 30, 2005.

Nalwa Sons Investments is the part of the O P Jindal group, a multi-billion, multi-locational, multi-product business empire with business interests in producing sponge iron, ferro alloys, hot-rolled and cold-rolled steel products, coated pipes, galvanized steel, and power.

The company holds significant investments in equity shares of the Jindal Group and other steel companies. These investments are long-term strategic investments with a view to achieve substantial value enhancement for the benefit of shareholders at large.
