It is a professionally managed company led by Nagji K Rita who is the founder member and through his managerial acumen and cumulative experience of 20 years in the financial markets has steered the growth of the company. Inventure Growth & Securities was incorporated as a public limited company on June 22, 1995. It has grown from being a SEBI registered broker with BSE membership into a full service brokerage house providing services in the financial services sector.

The company offers a host of services under one roof providing comprehensive advisory services that are well diversified from trading services in equity cash and derivatives market, debt market, commodities and currency futures segment to financing activity, wealth management and distribution of financial products. It has membership in the cash and derivative segments of both BSE and NSE, currency futures market segment of BSE, NSE and MCX-SX and wholesale debt market of BSE. It is also a member of OTCEI. Inventure Growth & Securities  is also a commodity trading member of MCX, NCDEX, NMCE and NSEL. The company is also registered as a DP with CDSL.

The company recently applied to SEBI for a PMS license, NSE for a trading member of Wholesale Debt Market and to IRDA for direct insurance broker license. Its services are targeted at institutional clients, high net worth individuals and retail investors. It uses a knowledge-based approach together with personalized services to meet the clients’ needs in line with their investment objective. Inventure Growth & Securities' clientele includes institutional clients, high net worth individuals and retail investors numbering 31,197 across the country. It could withstand the volatile market conditions based on this diversified base of customers and the speed and accuracy of its employees.

Inventure Growth & Securities' current workforce consists of 289 employees including staff at the branches and of its subsidiaries. The company is headquartered at Mumbai and operates through 224 business locations including branches, franchisees and sub-brokers located across 14 cities and towns. Its business locations also includes intermediaries or 'Business Associates', who deliver a standard quality of service offering on the basis of a pre-determined revenue sharing ratio for the business generated through them.
