Eimco Elecon (India) Limited was incorporated in 1974 as a joint venture of ELECON Group of India and Indian Public, it is in the business of manufacturing and marketing equipment for underground and opencast mines.  Eimco Elecon (India) Limited was first to introduce the intermediate technology of Side Dump Loaders (SDLs), Load Haul Dumpers (LHDs) and Rocker Shovel Loaders in India to partially mechanize the underground coal and metalliferrous mines and continue to be market leader since then.

In order to maintain pace with demand for enhancement of productivity from mines, they also introduced Continuous Mining Technology, Face & Roof Drills, Coal Haulers, different models of LHDs / SDLs, etc. for underground mines and 160mm & 250mm self propelled crawler mounted blast hole drills for Opencast mines.

The company already produced more than 2550 Nos. of machines, which are working successfully at various mining and construction sites in India and abroad.It provides sales and after-sales-support through the net work of branch offices and parts depots across the country viz. Asansol, Bilaspur, Dhanbad, Kolkata, Nagpur, Secunderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Jamshedpur, Mumbai and New Delhi.

Eimco Elecon produces a wide range of underground mining machinery. Its range of products include Electro Hydraulic Side Dump Loaders, Load Haul Dumpers, Air Powered Rocker Showel Loaders, Coal Hauler and Low Profile Dump Trucks.

Eimco Elecon also manufactures Blasthole Drills, Hydraulic Cylinders and Air Motors. Besides we are the only distributors for BERCO undercarriage components in India.
